This site exists to answer one question: what can you actually do in Sydney without paying? The core is a set of five pay-what-you-want walking tours, all run by independent local guides and listed on GuruWalk and freetour.com, with the best free tour compared in detail on its own page. Around them sits a wider directory of verified free attractions: harbour lookouts, museums with genuinely free general entry, parks, coastal paths, historic sites and free festivals. Where an attraction is free only on certain days or for certain visitors, that condition is stated plainly. The site runs none of these things and takes no payment for any of them.
